The Business Office, part of the Municipal Executive Administration, works to enhance growth in the existing business sector and attract new investments. We collaborate with local, regional, and international actors to contribute to sustainable development and increase Luleå's attractiveness for businesses, residents, and visitors. We are 18 employees with broad expertise and a shared commitment to developing a growing, sustainable, and attractive Luleå.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an interesting and varied role where you will drive and develop Luleå's establishment and growth work in close collaboration with the business sector and municipal companies. You will support companies throughout the establishment process from the first contact to implementation. Your work will involve creating long-term relationships with companies, property developers, and public organizations. You will represent Luleå in various forums, networks, and public arenas, and participate in projects that strengthen and develop the business sector in Luleå.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• a good understanding of the business sector
• several years of relevant and current experience from collaboration between the public sector and business
• an existing and relevant network for the position
• post-secondary education with a relevant focus for the position. Alternatively, you have other education combined with relevant work experience for the position
• good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing
• skills in Microsoft Office

You will be a key person in the work to enhance the municipality's attractiveness for the business sector. To succeed in the role, it is essential that you have a natural ability to create and maintain trusting relationships. You are communicative, comfortable in meetings with various stakeholders, and thrive in a role where you represent, build networks, and create trust. With your good collaboration skills and your attentive, engaged, and accommodating manner, you contribute to positive development and create joint solutions that lead to long-term benefits and sustainable development for the business sector and the municipality. You are a curious and action-oriented person who sees solutions and opportunities. It is also important that you are interested in societal development and keep yourself updated on what is happening and upcoming in the field.
